Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is an Canadian actress who is most well-known for her role as Bo in the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay who is producer and director of drama of drama and production at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Silk's father Peter is an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall her first experiences when she was at rehearsals for play together with her mother. Silk featured in a number of commercials when she was a kid. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts in 1997 from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least 2 early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto in her quest to act and progress, and then moved to Los Angeles California. She met her future husband, Seth Cooperman, at an Actor's training in Los Angeles in 2007. In 2009, they were wed in civil ceremonies in the month of December. They renewed their vows April 10, 2011, in Fredericton, after the woman was converted to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son that was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born son on 13 May 2016. Silk's work on television is a part of Being Erica as Cassidy Holland for which she won the Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009 Silk was a part of the main Bo Dennis in the series Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during final production of the season 3 finale. She announced the news to viewers on Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20th, 2013 that the series was returning to production. Fourth season premiered on June 4, 2013 with Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. Silk's portrayal of Bo and Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as same-sex lovers on Lost Girl was named one of the most popular TV Couples in the year 2013 by CNN (Cable News Network) and declared Top TV Couple of 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk has an enormous social media following, including Facebook and Twitter, as a direct consequence of its popularity.
